About Our Story

Invitro Derm began with curiosity — not marketing.

We noticed how often skincare conversations online were driven by buzzwords instead of facts, and how questions about testing, ingredients, and ethics were either oversimplified or intentionally vague.

So we started digging.

In vitro means “in glass” — testing done outside a living organism, often in lab-controlled environments. It’s a term rooted in science, transparency, and modern research methods. Invitro Derm exists to bring that same clarity to skincare conversations.

Our goal is simple:

  • Look at skincare brands through a science-informed lens
  • Talk honestly about animal testing, regulations, and alternatives
  • Separate marketing claims from what actually happens behind the scenes
  • Share real examples, not just labels or logos

We don’t exist to shame brands or push trends. We exist to explain, contextualize, and document — so readers can make informed choices without needing a chemistry degree.
